Meet the Artist
Kim Jones is a native of Springfield, Tennessee. She has been in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 1988 where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Western Kentucky University. Kim also has an Associates Degree in Business from Volunteer State Community College in Tennessee.
As an artist of multiple mediums, Kim brings a unique perspective into her art. She has a developed eye for display and merchandising, as well as fresh, exciting fine artwork. Often, she combines found objects (including wood, barbed wire, grasses, etc) in her pieces. Due to Kim’s background in Design, she incorporates patterned repetitions of circles and squares found in natural architectural features into abstract paintings. Her latest series of abstractions have been met with success and achievement.
